What better way to celebrate the Fourth of July than with a fireworks display? Independence Day falls on a Friday this year. Some fireworks displays will be held before the holiday while others will be held on the Fourth of July or the weekend. It will give those who enjoy fireworks an opportunity to see more than one display.

Here's where you can see fireworks for the holiday:

Dover Township
Red, White & Boom will celebrate the nation's birthday, according to Dover Township.
Fireworks will be set off from Eagle View Park at 2480 West Canal Road. However, the park will not be open to the public.

Spectators can view the fireworks from several locations: Dover High School Stadium, Union Fire & Hose Co. Station 6, Dover Area Community Park, Lehr Park (sensory friendly), and Ketterman Park.

Food trucks will be available from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the township building and Lehr Park. The fire station in Dover borough will be selling burgers, hot dogs, fish sandwiches, pretzels, soda, water, according to the website.

The Spring Garden Band will perform from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Lehr Park. The concert will be moved indoors to the Dover Community Building if it rains. A free magic show will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Union Fire & Hose Company Station 6. JABM Entertainment will spin tunes in the high school stadium, the website states.

Hanover will be holding its annual fireworks display, according to the borough.

Jacobus
The 2025 Fourth of July "BLAST" will feature live music, family-friendly activities and fireworks, according to the Jacobus Lions Club, Inc.

When: Friday, July 4 (If it rains, it will be held Saturday, July 5 from 6 p.m. through the fireworks.)

Time: 8:30 a.m. until the fireworks in the evening

Enjoy a concert by the York Symphony Orchestra and Chorus and fireworks on the holiday.

The July 4th Food Truck Festival will feature about 50 food trucks, a beer/wine garden, live music, a petting zoo with mini highland cows, children's activities and more, according to the City of Harrisburg.

The Harrisburg Senators will be playing against the Altoona Curve at 7 p.m., and a fireworks show will be held at the stadium after the game.

Time: Noon to 7 p.m. for the activities; fireworks to follow baseball game.
